NANCSH Educational sponsorship criteria
- At a NANCSH Council Meeting in 1993, it was decided that educational sponsorship be created for Full NANCSH Members.
- Every member of the association will have an open invitation to apply, but a minimum of 6 month's membership is necessary.
- Subject to an annual review and commencing from 1st January each year, a sum of up to £250 could be granted for each individual.
- Members would be able to re-apply for sponsorship each year for longer courses.
- The applicant needs to apply to the Administration Office for a sponsorship form, (or complete the form in the Journal) and consideration will be given for financial help towards relevant course costs.
- Evidence of costs or submission of receipt will be required as proof of costs incurred.
- The Education Committee of the Council will take the responsibility for the decisions as to whom and how much sponsorship can be granted. These applications can be ratified by the Chairwoman of the Association as necessary.
- A condition of the sponsorship will be that those members who are granted funding will be required to produce a synopsis or submit their course project if not too lengthy. This must be submitted at the end of their course or at the end of each year for longer courses. This will be considered for publication on the NANCSH website. - Anyone who fails to submit a report after written requests from NANCSH will not be eligible for further awards.

To apply for Educational Sponsorship, please complete the Sponsorship Form and e-mail to NANCSH or send by post to NANCSH Office.
From 2008, Educational Sponsorship will be awarded to attend the NANCSH Symposium in November. Please note this will be a first come/first served offer, so get your applications in early!
In addition to this, NANCSH will also offer two free places to the Symposium for students who are on a recognised Contraception and Sexual Health module.
